Ahhh! I can’t believe I’m finally sharing this! I had the great honor of knocking off a bucket list item by styling Bryce Dallas Howard’s home for Architectural Digest. I never in a million years imagined a few years ago when I got into design full time that I’d be able to work on something so big and exciting. Over the past year I worked with Claire Thomas as a design assistant and decorator for Bryce’s LA home. I work with Claire on almost every project she takes on and am her go to for vintage sourcing and styling, so thankfully AD decided to have me on as the stylist for this shoot. A huge thanks to Bryce and Seth for trusting Claire and I to design and decorate your home. An even bigger thank you to my mentor and collaborator, Claire Thomas, for entrusting me with so much responsibility and fostering my career. And last but not least, thank you Arch Digest for bringing me on for this shoot! Just because you are the original stylist of a home doesn’t mean that publications will hire you for the official shoot, which is a huge bummer because the team that works on the home is going to know it best and understand the overall vision. This opportunity is not lost on me and I’m so grateful. Sorry for all the run on sentences, I’m just very excited.
